Family-First Safety Guide (All Services)
We treat your home with the exact same safety standards we use to protect our own families. For our Signature Service maintenance plans, treatments are focused primarily on the exterior, meaning there is minimal disruption to your daily routine and no need to leave your home.
Pre-Treatment (Preparation)
- Stay Clear of Active Work Zones: Occupants and pets should remain safely indoors (or at a safe distance) while the technician is treating the exterior perimeter. If an interior treatment is scheduled, simply keep children and pets in a separate, untreated room while the technician is actively working. This keeps your family completely clear of active applications and prevents accidental contact or drift during the service.
- Infants, Toddlers & Expecting Mothers: For any interior liquid applications, we strongly advise that pregnant women, infants, and toddlers step out of the home during the service and remain away until the product is 100% dry. Young children naturally crawl and put hands or toys in their mouths, while pregnancy warrants an extra layer of safety. Stepping out completely ensures zero contact with the wet product until it is fully dry and bonded.
- Respiratory & Sensitivity Notice: If any occupant of the home has asthma, COPD, severe chemical sensitivities, or other respiratory conditions, we recommend erring on the side of caution and proactively stepping out of the home during active interior liquid applications. While our professional products are virtually odorless, fine mist in the air during active interior spraying can occasionally cause temporary irritation for sensitive airways.
- Prepare Pet Essentials & Sensitive Habitats: Remove all pet food dishes, water bowls, toys, and pet beds from any rooms scheduled for treatment. If we are treating near sensitive exotic pets (birds, reptiles) or fish tanks, please notify us in advance. Move all bird cages and reptile habitats completely out of the treatment area. For fish tanks, turn off the air pumps and cover the top of the tank securely with a damp towel immediately prior to our arrival. This protects your pets' daily items from accidental product contact and prepares highly sensitive aquatic or exotic ecosystems for the service.
Post-Treatment (Follow-up)
- Verify Dryness Before Accessing Treated Areas: Do not touch or step on treated surfaces (such as indoor baseboards or wet outdoor foundation lines) until they are 100% dry (typically 30 to 60 minutes). Our professional products are completely safe once dry. Restricting access during the short drying window prevents accidental skin irritation and ensures the protective barrier bonds properly to the surface.
- Safe Pet Re-entry & Habitat Restoration: Keep pets off all treated areas—including wet outdoor foundation lines and any treated rooms indoors—for a 30-to-60-minute drying window. For fish tanks, safely uncover the tank and turn the air pumps back on 1 hour after the service concludes. This prevents pets from tracking through wet products and safely restores oxygen levels to your aquatic ecosystems once any minor airborne drift has fully settled.
- Wear Footwear Indoors (Interior Treatments Only): If an interior liquid treatment is performed, we strongly advise all occupants to wear shoes, slippers, or other protective footwear inside the home during the service and until all treated surfaces are completely dry (typically 30 to 60 minutes). This provides an extra physical layer of protection to completely prevent barefoot contact with the product before it has fully dried and bonded.
- Do Not Disturb Placed Baits or Dusts: We take extreme care to apply professional baits and dusts only in deep cracks, crevices, wall voids, or other hidden locations completely out of reach of children and pets. Do not touch, wipe away, or move these products. If you notice a child or pet showing an unusual or persistent curiosity toward any placement, please call our office immediately so we can schedule a priority return visit to safely relocate it. This keeps the treatment actively working to eliminate pests. Your family's peace of mind is our priority; we will gladly adjust the placement to ensure you feel completely secure. In the unlikely event you suspect contact or ingestion, contact us promptly so we can provide the product label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for medical professionals or poison control.
Specialized Indoor Treatments (Evacuation Required)
⚠️ Note: This section applies ONLY to intensive indoor clean-outs, including Fleas, Bed Bugs, or specialized Roach Warfare protocols. Signature Service maintenance accounts do not need to follow these evacuation steps.
- Vacate the Premises for Specialized Services: All occupants, children, and pets must leave the home during the active treatment and remain out for a minimum of 4 hours, or until all liquid applications are 100% dry (whichever is longer). These intensive indoor clean-outs require comprehensive liquid applications across targeted surfaces. Leaving the home prevents accidental contact or inhalation of the product, ensuring absolute safety.
